Posts and exchange
- Two versions in one page. A strip at the top switches between the flow as the team built it and a simplified one, on desktop or phone, playing either side of the exchange.
- The terms are the subject. One sheet holds the entries in the exchange, what each is for, and the terms covering them. Terms can apply to everything or name a single entry.
- Negotiation happens in the room. Either side can accept or suggest changes; a change goes back as a proposal of their own, with existing terms editable or marked to drop.
- Custom actions. A poster can put a short form on an entry — Ana's cargo bike carries "I'll rent this" — and the answers arrive as proposed terms.
- Fewer decisions, same steps. All nine steps survive; the asker goes from five decisions to two, and the six-digit code appears only when the poster asked for one.
Latest in Calm
- Profiles are back. Cover photo album with thumbnails on the card, bio, entries, circles and what the person is broadcasting. Reached from the avatar, or from a name on someone's collection.
- Circles and places open properly. A circle has Entries, About, Members with invitations, Activity and Requests. A place opens on a map with nearby pins, plus Entries, Nearby, About and who has checked in.
- Broadcasting is a state you can walk through — stop it and the profile shows an empty state with one action to choose a collection and start again.
- Sections show four and open out: Show all 8 entries, 1 more circle. The heading carries the true count.
- A collection carries two icons — follow (or edit, if it is yours) and share. Share holds messaging, reposting, copy link and sharing outside TrustUp.
- Broadcast settings live with the collection: who can see it (Following or Nearby), how long it runs, and stop or restart.
- Triage has a Close button, so you can leave part-way and come back to where you were.
Earlier in Calm
- People, Circles and Places share one tile — same size, spacing, badges and type on every page. No per-page restyling.
- Navigation splits in two: the band title dropdown chooses what to show, with counts; the sliders button next to it holds layout and ordering for that page.
- The homepage ways — Following, Nearby, Circles, People, Places — are filters on the feed, not destinations. They narrow what you see without leaving home.
- Band labels name the page: All updates, Active exchanges, rather than a bare Everything or Active.
- Triage is one card at a time — drag to decide, swipe on phones, buttons on desktop.
- Band and content sit in one 1040px column, so the page reads as a single object from top to bottom.
- Opening a collection on the homepage drops it into Looked at recently, with a back pill returning you to the filter you were in.
